After School Program

Hope 4 KidsHope 4 Kids is an after school program free to the 10th & Page community. The program offers a structured environment assisting the children with both social and academic skills. Hope offers free transportation from Venable Elementary School to the Center.

One on one tutoring, a daily snack, and kid friendly programming are offered between the hours of 3:00 and 5:30 PM. In this environment, Ms. Sharon Mason highly believes in child-led learning.
Mrs. Mason serves as a member of Venable's PTO, meets with Venable's Principal, and also occasionally sits in for lunch with the children.

The after school program pulls tutors from across the Charlottesville community. Some tutors come from UVA, Madison House, UVA students, Darden School of Business, The Curry School, The Renaissance School, and St Anne's Belfield., as well as UVA Alumni, and local business partners

If you'd like to volunteer, please contact Lori-Ann Strait, fill out your Volunteer Application and send it to Lori-Ann in the Hope Community Center offices.
