Finding Hope
Hope Community Center is located at 341 11th Street NW, Charlottesville VA 22903 off of Grady Avenue. Our hours of operation vary. During the school year we are open M-F from 3:00 to 5:30 for the Hope4Kids after school program for Venable Elementary School kids. The Academic Building
Our Academic Building is the first building you will see when pulling into Hope Community Center. Inside, we offer a main common room, lounge, classroom, computer lab, kitchen, showers, bathrooms and a pantry. Renting this building is possible and based on availability. The Activity Building
Our Activity Building is the second building you will see when pulling into the parking lot. Behind this building is the community garden. Inside we have a half-court gymnasium with a basketball hoop, as well as a laundry facility for the homeless. This building is also home to the Charlottesville City Police sub-station.
