Join HOPE, and be a part of a dynamic place where you can serve your community on multiple levels! The Diversity of HOPE’s programming allows the opportunity to “get your hands dirty,” but also offers a place where you can use your skills for those in need.
We need volunteers for:
- Tutoring
- Mentoring
- Teaching ESL
- Teaching basic computer skills
- Cooking breakfast for the homeless
- Drive our van (mornings/afternoons/nights)
- Serve food
- Hand out clothing to the needy
- Provide a safe environment for people
- Cleaning
- Painting
- Sorting clothing
- Build Back Packs for kids/refugees
- Help to coordinate events
- Resume assistance
- Web design
- Graphic design
- Video production
- Runing errands for the community center, (gas/vehicle provided)
- Hair cuts for all our clients
- Teaching job interviewing skills
- Motivational speaking
- Health screening
For any skill that you have, we can find an opportunity for you at Hope. You can also help with community events: Hope Chest, Toy and Clothing Give-Away, Street Soccer, Meet Your Neighbor, and Backpacks for Kids. At HOPE we provide the opportunity for people to improve their lives through education and training, giving Hope a Hand!
